Data we collect
When you use our services, especially our social media automation features (such as our integration with Meta/Facebook and Instagram), we may collect the following types of data:
- Identity Data: First name, last name, username, or similar identifiers.
- Contact Data: Email address.
- Social Media Data: Information from connected social media accounts (e.g., Facebook Pages, Instagram Accounts), including page names, account IDs, tokens, posts, comments, and direct messages, strictly for the purpose of providing our automation services.
- Technical Data: Internet protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, and other technology on the devices you use to access this website.
How we use your data
We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:
- To provide and maintain our service, including our social media automation tools.
- To manage your account and authenticate your identity.
- To process and deliver your requests, such as auto-replying to comments or messages based on your configured rules.
- To improve our website, products/services, marketing, customer relationships and experiences.
We use the Meta Graph API to read and manage your connected Facebook Pages and Instagram Business accounts. We only access and store the data necessary (such as posts, comments, and messages) to fulfill the automation rules you define. We do not sell or share this data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Data retention and deletion
We will only retain your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or reporting requirements.
If you disconnect your Meta accounts from our platform, we immediately revoke our access tokens and delete the synchronized data (such as page configurations) from our active databases. For instructions on how to request complete data deletion, please see our Data Deletion Instructions.
Payment processing & financial data security
When you subscribe to paid plans, payments are processed directly by our authorized PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateway partner, Cashfree Payments India Private Limited ("Cashfree"). Redtoolz does not capture, store, or process raw credit/debit card numbers, CVVs, net banking credentials, or UPI MPINs on our servers. All financial transactions are encrypted using end-to-end Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3) protocols directly with Cashfree and your bank.
Your legal rights
Under certain circumstances, you have rights under data protection laws in relation to your personal data, including the right to request access, correction, erasure, restriction, transfer, to object to processing, to portability of data and (where the lawful ground of processing is consent) to withdraw consent.
